How to drink Pelada Ouzo & Tsipouro

Pelada Ouzo may be served and enjoyed in several ways.  It can be poured in small glasses and sipped as a liqueur or enjoyed in a medium sized glass to  which cold water or ice is added by the person drinking it.  It can also be poured directed over ice cubes.  Note, that the person drinking the ouzo controls the amount of dilution they prefer.  Also, be aware that it is natural for ouzo to become cloudy or milky in appearance as the anise reacts when mixed with water or ice. Pelada Ouzo is usually accompanied by a small plate of appetizers containing such items such as olives, cheeses, salami, meats, or seafood.  It is said to help ones digestion and appetite.

Pelada Tsipouro "our Greek Moonshine" may be served and enjoyed in small or for the brave at heart medium sized glasses. Pelada Tsipouro is usually accompanied by a small plate of appetizers containing such items such as olives, cheeses, salami, meats, or seafood.
